Your existing forums rss file seems to work fine - what are you trying to do with it?

Have been looking at this for a while now, and there's something I don't understand about your site setup.

If I use {your_domain_name}/rss/forums.php/f=26 then as you say, I just get the latest posts across all forums.

But if I try {your_domain_name}/rss/forums.php I get the same entries - which I would expect as the f=26 was effectively being ignored anyway - but I get feedburner links beneath each!?! Where did they come from? Do you have some url redirects in the middle of all this? If so then I suspect they are not letting the extra parameter through.

Phoenix, I cross-posted with your's.

See first 2 posts in thread to understand what they are trying to do.

I already read those Smile

forums.php works and forums.php?f=5 works - both provide different results - hmm, now the same result - what version of that file are you using.

So. the question remains, what are you trying to do with it?
e.g. provide rss links in the forum index? (the easiest one to do, and doesn't need extra queries)

@layingback - yes to the FeedBurner redirects and without having had a chance to double-check the rules in question I think you may well be on to something (I'm reverse-proxying the rss requests through to Feedburner servers but had completely forgotten about it) - many thanks! I'll look further into it next week - it may just require a small edit to the RewriteRule to get things to work.

@Phoenix - thanks for your input, I'm trying to provide users with separate rss feeds so they can keep track of individual forums (most users probably are only interested in one particular forum).

Added: version of forums.php file is 9.5
