earth, I'm not interested in helping you further fracture an already small DF community. DF has a site here, and each active developer has a single site for support, etc., simply because it would discourteous to provide support only through the DF site. That to me is enough. The DF community needs all the help it can get, but within its current framework, IMHO.
Nor am I interested in taking this discussion "off line."
But if you want to set up a DF Mega Module Pack then I, nor anybody else, can stop you provided you obey all the rules of our licenses.
It is quite simple, provided you take the time to read GNU GPL 2 license and the many articles about it on the 'Net. In a nutshell: Look through every module that you wish to include in your Mega Pack, and see if it is licensed under GPL 2. If it is it can stay in the pack, if it isn't it cannot. Until this is done you must take down your DF Mega Module Pack. As a starting point, Downloads Pro is not released under GPL 2 or any other F/OSS, or OSI license. You should then add the necessary statements to your combined work in the fashion dictated by the requirements of the GPL 2 license.
Is it a lot of work to release GPL 2 products? You bet! And because of that I/we would ask you to respect the effort each of us has already put into developing, releasing and supporting our modules, and through them Dragonfly.
If you don't want to comply with GPL 2, or take the time to understand how to comply with same, then the course open to you is simple: Get out of the redistribution business for GPL licensed products!
