I've just installed ForumsPlus to my site. I found that I was missing some images in my themes directory (like images/forums/icon_mini_faq - not sure what else) but I also see I have two 'New Topic' images with the same links on the forums page.

Any idea where I should look to see where it is duplicated? I'm using reDesign2..

It's not duplicated per se. Instead you are seeing the entire image. (Try View Image from your browser, and you'll see what I mean.) Eestlane uses the absolute position to display just the upper part normally, and the lower part during rollover, so you get the effect of a rollover instantly, without waiting for the 2nd image to be downloaded as you would with the classic 2 image solution.

So why is the entire image showing? Don't know, but would guess that something has changed in the CSS code, so that the style sheet isn't matching correctly any more.

You say reDesign2. Might be worth a quick try with the latest reDesign3 CVS in case Eestlane has already fixed it?

Thanks LB - That does explain it! Any idea which file I should be looking at? And won't I get in trouble if I mix reDesign2 and 3?

I'd look at code (as in View Code) without ForumsPlus and with. And what CSS is used differently (Web Developer or Firebug plugin for a real browser ;-).

You can't mix. I meant install as an alternate theme - for you only. If that bit works for rD3 then you'd have a chance at copying the needed changes over.

But if Eestlane hasn't installed ForumsPlus I'd guess you are going to be breaking new ground ...
