Hi,

I searched but cannot find...

I know this problem is all over the place, but I just couldn't find it. I've been away from my site, and the software for a long time for health issues you don't want to hear about... I can't remember how to troubleshoot this at all. Can someone please point me in the right direction? No one has changed any settings.

I believe the specs on the server below are correct. I have a help ticket in to the provider, pair.com, to see if they upgraded something that broke it.

I think if I get pointed in the right direction, it will come back to me, but I suffer some memory loss. I know you guys and gals are great, so I'm counting on you!

TIA,

jon

While your CMS is not particularly forthcoming regarding the details of
the problem, this error message most likely pertains to the notice we had
sent out to our users regarding the PHP 5.2 to 5.3 upgrade. Your server
had been upgraded on Friday as per the schedule we had posted on our system
notices page:

www.pair.com/support/n...grade.html

With the upgrade, all MySQL passwords must be saved in MySQL's newest
internal format. That will ensure your continued access to MySQL databases
via PHP. The instructions on that page will walk you through the process
of updating your password to the new format.

Bla! Where is it in the software that I have to add the new password? I think it's in a . file? .config or something? Please advise. Meanwhile, I'll go reset the password to the database.

I think you should update your password within cPanel, Plesk or whatever your server uses to admin your account?
Then off course make sure /includes/config.php uses the same pwd.
