3. As explained create new directory: "/home/YOU/public_html/cpgnuke" or use the "root" (must be empty "/home/YOU/public_html"

4. CHMOD 777 that directory: CHMOD the directory which you made under #3

5. Upload the extracted files and folder to your website: This means you upload the files to your NEWLY created directory ("/home/YOU/public_html/cpgnuke") OR to the empty webroot "/home/YOU/public_html"

You can't run this CVS system on a already existing version UNLESS you chmod all files and folders to 777 OR UNLESS your PHP runs AS you and NOT as nobody

Yes, that was problem I had - empty your subdomain - in mycase I kept old subdomain and started new empty subdomain 'cvs' or 'beta0' then follow DJ's instructions.

Oh, I can't do that...I don't have another 5 MB of space.. Guess I'll do it the old fashioned way then.

Does this sticky still apply? I am not seeing an attached cvsweb.zip file, so was a bit confused if running an cvs-updated website is still possible, and if so, if the install instructions may have changed a bit.

Thanks in advance Smile

It doesn't work anymore right? As install requies some mainfile whichi isn't in the package anymore. Also the db.php, but I downloaded manually from cvs repository.
