well then why have a birthday mod at all if you can still do the stuff in the calendar? lol
i'd still simply want a birthday feature integrated (with the option of on or off in admin/members) with the members list/profile in that when you register you type in your birthday and the cpg system will take care of the rest (sql to display countdown till birthday with age) etc...displaying in the profile...
=)

My CPG port conversion has been open 30 hours and I have already had 3 requests for Birthdays. It has always been a pretty big deal on my site.
Anyway, educate a CPG Greenpea here, why isn't a current Calendar mod already included? I layed in KalenderMx1.4_135 and it works great. It seems that a birthday field in My_Account which automatically populated an event in the Calendar would handle this problem pronto. Then birthdays will be in all calendar views and show up in the Calendar Block as a Today Event automatically. Only the countdown would be missing.
I am sure there must be some reason why one of the GNU Nuke Calendars hasn't been incorporated. Just wondering why.
