Hello,
I created three different galleries for users to pick when creating their albums, but when a user goes to create an album, it doesn't let them select a category. Instead, it automatically puts the album in a category called User Galleries, which I cannot delete as an admin. Any ideas what I can do to fix this? Thanks!

yes i noticed this too, there are many categories on my site, but users are unable to select those categories, only their own albums to upload to...

any ideas?

No one has any advice for this? Isn't this kind of a major problem?

Members are only allowed to create an album in their own "member category" which is in "user galleries"
Members may upload a picture to a global album if the PROPERTIES of the album are setup correctly AND the member has "publ. upload" rights in the group he belongs to.

i thought this was answered? (in another post though)
users may upload to any available categories the admin creates, there is a setting to allow this
search for my post on this : )

ive searched all topics with postings of you but cant find anything about how to force a user to only upload to this or that category
i want him/her to be able to upload anywhere but the user gallery
on the other hand i think i have found out how to stop users from making personal galleries
