Yes, and it would be great if we could figure out where all this happens, looking at and changing the config file every 10 minutes for a week or so is still not getting it fixed...

so, here is what we have:
Address to nuke folder ie www.mysite.tld/html/
Quote::
SHOWS This: www.hspig.org/html/

And The album directory *
SHOWS this:
Quote::
modules/coppermine/albums/modules/coppermine/albums/usepics

And The directory for user pictures *
SHOWS:
Quote::
modules/coppermine/albums/modules/coppermine/albums/userpics/

And Path of the cookie used by the script
SHOWS:
Quote::
/html/

What else can I provide?

Ken

The album directory = modules/coppermine/albums/
The user pics directory = modules/coppermine/albums/userpics/

You could change them to your preference, but that's how it is "out of the box"

okay, I made those changes and it still failed, SO I created coppermine-albums and coppermine-albums/userpics in the web's HOME directory, changed the attributes and the congig file, and it still is failing.

So, the last thing I am going to try NOW, is to Uninstall the entire CPGNUKE installation, then download a new release, and upload the new one ..and then test Coppermine first to see if there are any issues with this new install.

Ken

Will keep u posted on progress.

try it with default settings, 99% of the time the values filled in by cpgnuke are the correct ones.

Post subject: Re: images show up as a "place holder" image

well, I resolved it by:
deleting the OLD DB, deleting ALL of the files on the server, unziping the orin file, and then uploading JUST the basics and using it out of the box with as FEW changes I needed to test the photo area, I uploaded 2 pictures and bang it worked, so I guess was in some of the customization....
Thanks to all for the assistance....
