Hi there...
I have a problem with all the translations except english...
I thought that the problem was in me, but here (www.cpgnuke.com) when I try to change the language there appear some strange symbols which doesn't mean anything... Or for example when I create a new block - there's no problem with its the name ( I mean that the name is written on bulgarian language), but when I have to put some text in bulgarian for content of that block there appear only symbols which are not letters from bulgarian alphabet and the visitors cannot understand what is written...
WHY???
Please help me...

Since cpgnukje is setup for utf8 standard, any text you add needs to be in that format and saved in a utf8 compliant editor.

Well 10x Phoenix, but can you just tell me what I need to use if I want to make the text utf8 - to make it readeble for my users?
Do I need some program? Please help me because I'm a new user for cpg nuke, but really do like its possibilities and would like to use them all compleately and to make my users happy with that great system...
Thanks again for your help...
Waiting for your answer...

Please read the announcements in this i18n forum that I moved your topic to.
We have much information on this site, provided you look for the appropriate areas

UTF-8 is a function of your operating system, but Firefox supports it if it's present. whether you have the correct fonts to get all the more exotic characters is another question though
try doing a goolge search for utf, utf-8, or language packs
it does not seem like this is really i18n thread.. more a newbie issue not to place labels
(edit - looks like pheonix took care of this)
Head-e please enter your server specs in your user profile!

Ok 10x both of you, but as I saw other questions in the forum - forgive me but still cannot understand compleately - for example: you have published bulgarian translation in www.cpgnuke.com, but when I try to use it there appear that symbols... Or when I want to write something the symbols appear again... That bulgarian translation you have published is .php format, so how can I make the text there utf8 or what really do I need to fix that if I want my users to see their language???
Sorry for embarrassing you, but I really don't understand so please help

Which module, block or area of your site is there a problem with characters?
I have installed bulgarian from CVS and there are character problems with modules like Surveys, Recommend Us, so it will need correct ytranslation and upload.

You can see about what am I talking about here: www.forums-bg.com/index.php - down from the right side there is a block called "example" and there is a text written in bulgarian but you will see what is shown.. The same problem is in the bulgarian translation, too (for example module user login) - the same symbols like these you can see on the link... And I don't know why... How can I make these symbols be on my language - not the way they are now???

I understand your problem - what editor do you use for saving your files?
It must be utf8 compliant and saved as utf8 format, or you get that result.
Several editors are mentioned in announcements - a free one that will do the job is Notepad2.

Post a sentence in Bulgarian here, this forum,
"Welcome to all Bulgarian visitors"
I will place the message on my site - should just be copy/paste..

The translation into bulgarian of "Welcome to all Bulgarian visitors" is "Добре дошли на всички български посетители!"
Tell me what was the result after trying copy/paste

First, you have browser set to utf8 encode?
Online through my site is easy because cpgnuke accepts automatically.
If I wanted to place in a module/block that I edited offline, then I edit in something like notepad2, and make sure I save as utf8 encoded, then upload to my site.
I am only basic amateur with language - Akamu is our language expert - he set up the whole cpgnuke system and can place your translations into cpgnuke language files..
