done it, still no themes selection showing in My preferences.
I went in my db and changed manually the theme for my user but with no effect. When I log as an user the theme remain to the default.

And by the way another problem, I have 2 sites with the same theme, I copy it over (I named it cpgnuke for now, it's cpgnuke in blue) on one site it shows the right blocks on the other I cannot make it to show them. I only have this problem the cpgnuke theme.

you don't have the latest version of the cpgnuke theme if right blocks are missing.

I'm having the same problem. I've done everything suggested it still doesn't work.

The Themes Block works, but the option still doesn't show up in My Account/Preferences.

I encountered this problem when I ran the install script to upgrade from 8.2c to 9.0DF last week. I think that for some reason the table row for that wasn't created by the install script.

Try running the security patch that was released recently-- I think it may include a couple other small bugfixes, possibly including this one. Let us know how you make out.

Installed the security patch, still no luck.

I also deleted files in cache, set member -> allowusertheme -> 1 in the DB, made sure in Admin it was set to allow users to change themes, etc.

Any ideas?

This is the row that creates the 'choose theme' option in My Account.
