I did a search and I cant find any solutions to this problem, it cant be that unique that I am the only one with the problem...
Can anyone please help?

I am also having the attachment problem, I even tried to delete the forun attach config file no luck.

now i updated the php version from 4.3.5 to 4.3.10 (incl. the zend engine) and now it works for me!!

Did it for me as well, upgraded the php and she works 
I am now running php version 4.3.10
if anyone needs help just let me know.
