These other forums are ok. I was looking at the features of SMF and there is very little that can't be done by modifying the current forum.

Heck, forums_pro offers many of the features that smf does.

In regard to SMF, I would go so far as to say it is impractical to fully integrate into Dragonfly. Yes, you might build a bridge, like was done for Joomla, but what they call templating is very far removed from templating as we and many others know it.

Then there is the licensing issue that has resulted in Joomla (GPL) and SMF (a special non-GPL license) parting company.

You would be better trying to convert SMF et al forums to CPG-BB or ForumsPro.
