Why not implementing fully Invision Boards as the Forums of this CMS?
IB is much more powerful than PhpBB, much more secure, much more flexible and it rules much more With Maaaaaaaaaaany options that don't exist here...

It isn't...?
So... it can't be implemented into the system?
Which also means that all the IBNuke projects like:
forums.invisionpower.c...2&st=0
forums.invisionpower.c...75&hl=
are illegal?

Yes and no, IPB allows you to modify it but doesn't allow you to distribute it.
So what's the use of having a modified IPB but you can't distribute ?
Also when you distribute it into GPL that material becomes GPL as well, as stated in the GPL itself.

It's version 2.2 and early looks at the beta rock. It will be the perfect fit for CPGNuke

Well, I hope so, cause 2.0.x series, is far far behind even IB 1.1, not to mention 1.3...
And I used both of them, I administer a quite large forum using IB1.3

Lol i came across this and had to laugh.. I too was playing the waiting game with phpbb2.x, until I realized that it was never going to happen!!! well not in December 04 (as it is now Apr 05 and still not out). IPB 2.x is pretty damn impressive, and vb3.x also has its quality of features. from my testing of the cvs versions of phpbb 2.x, its not quite there with those other two. I think some porting for vb3.x and ipb2.x is necessary for those who have graduated from free phpbb to a paid forum, its more or less personal preference and what you are used to, and after falling in love with phpbb at one point, my heart is more into features, and none has more features than ipb and vb3, so even tho they can't be released, I would like to see some rogue members perhaps get started with a porting of vb3 and ipb forums to work with Dragonfly similar to ipbnuke.net did for nuke
