Post subject: 0x0 images and thumbnails

I've scanned through the entire coppermine forum for an answer, and since I couldn't find it, I feel that I am allowed to create a new topic.

Question is: New, fresh install of Cpgnuke, uploaded some images, shown in image property as a thumbnail, and exists on imagedir on server. But I get thumbnails the size of a pixel.

testAlbum - check closely for pixels

Probably some simple adjustment, but even though, got to make it work properly.

Thanks for all help!

The fix is in the update you will either have to update the current picture sizes in the db by hand via phpmyadmin or delete them from the db and re-add them.

Yep I did that. But i still got the same thing (0x0 pictures) I can only see them in the slideshow. It would be a bit bugging te reedit the db entry everytime ;).

hi there,

i'm facing the exact same problem as well. I'm currently using DF 9.0.4.0

Is there any solution to this rather than tweaking the DB values everytime someone upload something to the gallery?

Akamu,

couldn't find any appropriate update from the link you provided. Can you provide a more specific link again ? Thanks.

Currently i'm running DF with the gallery feature disabled Sad

Draekus, did you find a solution ? I noticed your gallery pics are being displayed. Or are you manually updating the pic sizes in the db.

P.S. I'm the same deal as mikeeeee

i tried upgraded to 9.0.5 but unfortunately the problem still there.

Are there any workarounds except tweaking the DB infor manually ?

TIA.

I can confirm the Problem with 9.0.5.0/fresh Install

Is there anything that can be done against it? Confused

Same problem here.

* Latest download of Dragonfly (last Thursday night)

* Images upload correctly

* Problem occurs with Firefox/Win32, Internet Exploder/Win32, and Firefox/OS X

* Intermediate and thumbnail images created correctly (verified by looking into the folder on the hosting server)

* Coppermine web UI showing picture sizes of 0x0 pixels.

* Happens with JPEG and PNG formats

* The gallery folders are showing as owned by the 'apache' user, but I have no way to change this, as the site is hosted.

I've disabled the module until I can get some definitive answers, but I'm not yelling for them, since this is the most amazing free software that I've used in a long time.

Thanks and keep up the good work!

sorry, i got this posted in two spots here on the forums...i think this one pertains more to my issue...
might have to do with safemode being active on the webserver......I have a standalone version of Coppermine installed on the same webspace and it works fine. not sure, but i had to uncomment or add a safemode command in a file on that install and everything worked fine .......unfortunately the files are different in the dragonfly version and i can't find the, (silly safe mode)<---actual name of code, command to uncomment or i don't know where to add it.......it could be that the dragonfly version isn't quite upto date and doesn't work with safemode being on? btw i'm just takin stabs at this....its really frustrating because i so want to replace what i'm using on my site now and go with Dragonfly!
