There are six default images you can choose from: stars-1.png through stars-6.png, or create images for the ranks you'd like and upload to images/ranks/ (or in your themes images/ranks folder).
Create the ranks at ranks administration admin.php?op=ranks.
Click edit user in admin.php?op=user (a link is also found at the users profile ...skip to step 5).
Lookup or enter a user name.
Click on Privileges.
Find the Rank Title and Save Changes .
