10.7: Installing Multiple Sites to Share Same User Tables in Database
Step 1. Download DragonflyCMS
Step 2. Install DragonflyCMS in your root folder of your hosting account or in a subdomain folder following the regular installation instructions.
Step 3. Repeat step 2 1 time for each website you want to use the same user tables.
Except you are going to use the same database you created for your first site.
Also each site must use different table prefixes inludeing the user prefix must be different for the install.
Make sure each site is uploaded to a different sub domain folder.
Step 4. Make sure you have For each site deleted the install folder and install.php after installation is complete.
Step 5. Cookie Settings for each site:
SERVER_NAME as Cookie Domain = NO
else Cookie domain = you want this to be blank
Cookie Path = /cms1/ (must be different for each site)
Admin cookie name = cms_admin (change cms to something different for each site)
Member cookie name = cms_login (change cms to something different for each site)
Step 6. Delete the user tables that have the prefixes of which you are not using. (SKIP THIS STEP IF YOU ARE NOT AN ADVANCED USER IT IS NOT REQUIRED)
Step 7. You must go to each site and find /includes/config.php edit the user table prefix in the config file for all sites to all be the same user table prefix.
Step 8. Your done. Enjoy!
