Archived ⇒ Custom names of modules in search

When you enter the "search" module today you get the option to choose wich modules you want to search in. F.ex news, coppermine and so on.
But there are no way to translate these names, besides changing the name of the modules themselves. That solution is a bit difficult for someone new to the Dragonfly-world.

So is it possible to make the search-, and similar functions to call the custom name (the one you can fix in admin) and not the original name of the module?
