Hello,

I am just upgrading from CMS Version 9.0.6.1 to 9.1.2.1 and ran the installer.. I have run into problems previous to this running IIS and PHP V.5 so my server is now running the following:

Windows 2003 Server
Apache
MySQL 5.0.41
PHP Version 4.4.7
CMS Version 9.0.6.1

My site was running fine until the upgrade was run.

Here is the stage at which the browse just hangs (or appears to)

Upgrading to 9.1.1 series is now complete
Upgrade still in process, please wait...

I currently have over 40,000 members and was wondering if this may be causing a problem, IE: will the size of the database dictate how long the process will take?

I hope that makes sense? I am now in maintenance mode and once again locked out from everything.

I have backups of both files and my db, but importing my database takes forever...

Separate note:
Is there a quicker way to create a new database in phpmyadmin? Importing a 48mb database is totally mind numbing and a waste of life after the first 5 times.

Any help would be so welcomed...many thanks

The installer "users content" is just one query only and it will executed if the anonymous user is missing from you table so it looks like it dropped into a loop that never happened before.

Are you by the way sharing the users table between different websites?

Yes the size of the database will dictate how long the upgrade will last for, but its not your case.

In regard to importing a database, 48MB is only a tiny database.

Posted many times - use bigdump to import a database.

hey guys and thanks,

No I am not sharing my database with any other sites so it won't be that.

I did leave the browser installer window for about 3 hours just in case, but then closed it thinking it had hung.

What can I do now? Any suggestions would be great.

Thanks again guys...

OK this might sound vague but were you using Opera while upgrading the DF installation?

What I meant up there is that I have gone through it because it seems to have hung up because the page just blow out of dimensions and become really wide. It is something like a bug about the admin panel that has already been reported.

You can however find the next button by scrolling a bit towards the right.

Hope that helps!

hey CatchImran and thanks, but it's not an opera table code bug in the page...wish it was!! thanks anyways...
