This is all good but I think having to award users points is a bad idea. It should be automatic. i.e 5 points for starting a thread, 2 for replying etc. Then users can use these functions in their other mods, like I would use it in coppermine for picture voting and commenting.

My site used to be on phpnuke and had hundreds of mods installed, mainly being promoted by a points system. At the moment I cant really see a great advantage of cpgnuke over phpnuke apart from security and speed etc. There aren't actually that many mods available and my site is a bit plain. I used to have a points system, a bank mod where people could store their poitns and earn interest\get a loan and pay interest, a casino where they can gamble their points etc. All this would be great additions for cpgnuke.

I don't think it's a "bad idea," I think it's what I wanted for my site. You happen to want something different than what I wanted.

Perhaps scetter will take mine and come up with something.

Sorry I didnt mean it in that way, I meant most people will need it to be automatic as they will be too busy of have too many active members to keep awarding points. Obviously this is down to personal preference.

Yes. My site is pretty busy, but our goal was to award good posts not spamming. Thus the design.

There are two versions of Flash_Games
