Archived ⇒ Can't select top categories in Add Download

If submitting a download only subcategories can be selected, but not top category, like RSS feeds for example.

The way I had to do it was checking the ID of RSS category, which is 44, if I remember right and editing the code in Opera, which gave me the way to add the file there.

However this is a bug and must be fixed.

Server specs (Server OS / Apache / MySQL / PHP / DragonflyCMS):
-

admin.php?op=Downloads&file=config
Allow users to add downloads in parent categories => No.

Glad to hear it works how it should.

linux / apache 2.2.22 / mysqli 5.6.34 / 7.1.22 / 10.0.48.9418+

Whoaw, my mistake then Embarassed
BUT, it should be turned on, shouldn't it?

No - it is off by design.

And with a good reason.
Most people want to put their download in the most upper category since they "think" that will expose their module at its best.

It doesn't and it only makes it harder to find what someone is looking for since it isn't categorized properly.
