Archived ⇒ My topic icon is gone in Admin menu

I was trying to add some topics to my site to post news about and noticed that I dont see the option anymore. I have double checked in the image directories and the topic icon is there, I can goto the topics from my main page menu, I just cant add them. What could I be missing?

in phpMyAdmin, check if you can admin Topics:
table: cms_admins
field: radmintopics
value: 1

if radminsuper=1, then all the rest can be 0, but must exist

For some reason I don't see this in the database. I am under the admin and see all the other radmin stuff but none that end in topics.

add it. another user had the exact problem for another module a couple weeks ago - that was the solution. No idea why this is happening tho...

What is the exact code I need to input into phpmyadmin to have it created? I tried looking in the install/mysql dir for dragonfly but could not find the raadmintopic creation anywhere.

in phpMyAdmin, select your cms_admins table
scroll to the bottom of the field list, you should see a line:

add 1 fields.... select "after radminnews" - hit GO

field: radmintopics
type: tinyint
value: 0
collation: utf8_general_ci
null: not_null
default: 0

ALTER TABLE `cms_admins` ADD `radmintopics` TINYINT( 0 ) NOT NULL DEFAULT '0' AFTER `radminnews` ;

I added the table but it is still not showing up. Do ya think updating to the latest version of Dragonfly will solve this? If I read it correctly all I do is upload the files, over writing the old ones then goto the install page correct?

Not sure if updating would fix this, since the update may assume the existence of these fields already...
You do have the upgrade instructions correct though Smile
