Archived ⇒ Hide "News" from un-registred users

Is there a option to hide news from un-registered users? I want it so NOTHING showes up at all when new people first come to site, that way they are forced to register before doing anything at all. I got everything disabled for un-registered users, just cant get news hidden.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Yes make a blank module Name it home and set it as home page.

Create a folder name it home.
Open a text editor word will work just fine
create a file name it index.php
save it in that folder named home
upload it to your modules directory.
Clear your site cache.
After that it should show in the modules list.
Set it as home page.

Nothing but the message should show up

Heres one for ya

This is how we handled it on one of our internal sites that we wanted to achieve the same effect on. We had to have positive ID on the users of the site, so we did not want to show the news to unregistered folks.

Thank... It worked like a charm. I setup the portal for my family, and don't want others to see the news or any other information, thats why. This is great.

THANKS!
