Archived ⇒ Problems generating RSS Feeds from other sites into DF

Hello,

I am trying to put some RSS feeds onto my site, but it keep coming up as not being recognised, even though I have exactly the same feed working with Firefox.

The feed is...

forums.nike.com/rss/rs...anguage=en

Anyone know why this may not work??

Thanks,

Michael

Moved to chit chat, no dragonfly CMS website to reference back therefore, question is not df support.

Michael, if you can place, in your WWW, the link to your dragonfly site, it would be much easier for us when were trying to help.

Since you use "so many df sites" which I have only seen one (and not sure if your referring to it), the rest are other formats.

Also, when I did a forums "search" RSS Feeds"
I found many different answers depending on what version of df your using and if your using CPG-BB or ForumsPro.
For example, if your using df & forumspro, you would have found this link using search: dragonflycms.org/Forum...feeds.html

If your not needing help with df, this forum can be used for non-df support questions.

Melinda,

Sorry, I have updated my info as requested.

I am not talking about generating RSS feeds from my forums, I am talking about using other people RSS feeds in my DF site. The feed I am trying to use is...

http://forums.nike.com/rss/rssmessages.jspa?categoryID=3&language=en

It says this is not a valid url, but it is!!!

Any ideas???

Michael

Thanks Michael, I am going to move your thread back to support, and change your heading so you can get better results.

I am not an expert on RSS feeds since I have removed them from my sites.

I will look through the forums search see if I can find anything, until someone is able to help you with a solution.

RSS solution> dragonflycms.org/Forum...feeds.html
RSS to blocks> dragonflycms.org/Forum...feeds.html
RSS to news> dragonflycms.org/Forum...feeds.html

Type in Search: "add rss feeds" and you get a list of answers

When I tried to go to this link, it brought me to a page where I had to select the language (even tho language=en is in the link). I'm guessing this is set in a cookie...
