Can I merge my standalone coppermine into DragonflyCMS? Reply to topic

Hi

Can I convert my standalone coppermine gallery to dragonfly cms?

Server specs (Server OS / Apache / MySQL / PHP / DragonflyCMS):
Ubuntu - Latest stable

No. Would take a huge amount of work.

Hi,

New user planning for a new install, but I have a question. I have an existing coppermine gallery 1.4.14 running already, is there a way to integrate this into a new CPG-CMS install or somehow import users/albums into the new CPG-CMS install?

Thanks.

Cool

I think that database tables would be somewhat compatible and our installer would be able to merge the differences.
But as of today there are not options to force a "db_check".

You could try to download and install RC2, copy your coppermine tables into it and rename them according to our table names.

Open includes/cmsinit.inc and change
define('CPG_NUKE', '9.2.0.RC2');
to
define('CPG_NUKE', '9.2.0.RC21');

Now we just forced an upgrade - go to install.php again.

This is nothing more then a test, never been done before but i think that you will have few good chances.

Just give it a try and let us know.
