Site hacked again. Reply to topic


Now i start to dislike this CMS

2 times the last week my site have been atacked again.

Somone is managing editing the source and adding a javascript that redirect users and spread virus.

is there anything i can do to stop this from hapening.

I have activatet all the security in Dragonfly.
ip spam flood.

Would realy apreciate some hints and tips on how to stop the problems.

There is only so much protection a CMS can provide - though you don't state your version, we would expect that you are helping yourself by at least using the latest DF version 9.2.1.

I would be talking to my host, and examining server logs before pointing the finger at the CMS - without those checks and information, there is nothing we can do to assist.

The fact that over 340 other sites are hosted on your server does leave you, and others, extremely exposed if other sites/CMS have been hacked - your host may already be aware of the issue.

Well i run 9.2.1 latest.

Somehow they manage to edit/Insert code into templates.

I tryed to read logs however i do not know what to look for.

if you have ssh access to your website look for obscure directories and files.

wouldnt know how to use it either :S
