[fixed] MySQL create database error This topic is locked: you cannot edit posts or make replies.


Geting this message up on my install...
Im totaly new to the dragonfly cms and my brain is farting over this.. so please anyone who can help me?


On /install.php
While executing query "CREATE DATABASE 129379-dragonfly DEFAULT CHARACTER SET utf8 DEFAULT COLLATE utf8_general_ci"

the following error occured: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '129379-dragonfly DEFAULT CHARACTER SET utf8 DEFAULT COLLATE utf8_general_ci' at line 1

In: [removed]/install/step2.php on line: 82

Server specs (Server OS / Apache / MySQL / PHP / DragonflyCMS):
linux/Apache/2.2.14 /php5.1.41/9.3.2.0


try to use 129379_dragonfly

Has to be the numbers then, I faced this problem years ago ... try with dragonfly_129379

Well m8 the DB is set up as this

And its set up by me on the controlepanel at my webhost, so i dont know what to do, cant do anything about the numberst hats 4 sure.

with
$query = "CREATE DATABASE `{$connect['database']}`";

See how it goes.

Yea that did it.tnx m8. butt now i {expletive removed} something els up so maybe ill be back with more Questions later.
