User galleries collapsed by default Reply to topic

This is an old bug that we have had for years, having survived each and every update, so just posting here in the vain hope that someone might know why its so.

Our User Galleries are always collapsed by default. its easy enough to click on them to expand them, but way more preferable if they were open all the time.

Usually means he'll come back to it - via the bookmark - when he is next working on fixes in that area.

I was wondering, could it be cookie based, as in a preference of which albums you want open and closed, sort of like the blocks?

I've given some thought to this, and while I can't prove it yet, I do believe this is deliberate in the code somewhere.

If Albums in Category => X do not display category as open.

Makes sense to me, we have 40 user galleries, it would look silly if it was open anyhow.

I've been thinking about this, I bet its standard behaviour for when a Category reaches over "X" amount of albums, otherwise it would look silly with 40 albums open.
