Double usernames on user menu Reply to topic

I have been dealing with this double name crap for 3 years now. And I have just overlooked it because most of my websites don't matter if they have users or not. So I have just used the small user menu. But now I have a site where we will be using the users, www.BostonTeaBaggaz.com and the double names being online is bugging me again. Can someone tell me what is going on? And how to get my site to stop showing my username as online twice? I don't have usernames twice in my database. It just shows everyone as being online twice.

That's the first time I ear about this, but what do you mean by "small user menu".

If it doesn't show users how is it possible that you have the issue to see double users?

What is the file name and which DF version are you with.

I am still seeking help on this topic. I have since left my page open on my computer so that I am constantly logged in on my site so that someone can see what I am talking about. My name Kid_Creation is online twice under staff and twice under members. I am signed in as both.

So can someone please tell me how to fix this glitch.
And I am using the latest version before someone ask again.

Leaving the page open doesn't make it happen, you need to produce hits.
Try with an "auto refresh" plug-in for your browser, and tune it at 15 seconds.

However I still need to make sure about the block, admin -> blocks -> edit the block and look for the filename. Also, is the block modified?
