Can't log into admin all a sudden Reply to topic

So all a sudden I am unable to log into admin.php

The site will allow me to access as a member - site responds swiftly and loads super quick. So does the admin login page.

But as soon as I put in my username and password and hit the login button - it just LAGSSSSSSSSSSS for like several minutes and then throws me this error message:

503 Service Unavailable

The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later.

Additionally, a 503 Service Unavailable error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Doesn't matter the device or the browser - so I doubt it's cookies. I've cleared them out and rebooted to to make super sure and again, I've tried it on various devices.

I would think it was a server issue - but again, as a member and the general public - the site is responding perfectly.

I was recently in the admin panel too - so not sure what triggered this change and not sure where to look to see where to fix it. Any ideas?

So I am also getting this emailed:

On /admin.php
While executing query "SELECT g.group_id, g.group_name, g.group_single_user FROM cms_bbgroups AS g INNER JOIN cms_bbuser_group AS ug ON (ug.group_id=g.group_id AND ug.user_id=5 AND ug.user_pending=0)"

the following error occured: MySQL server has gone away

Could you run a repair on the database?

Looks like its an issue with Godaddy - they tell me that my "cms_stats_hour table" is like 60k over the limit and the "cms_bbsearch_wordmatch" table is like 10k over the limit for a shared virtual server.

Just peachy.

So I can opt to delete 85% of all the stats for the past 7 years, but can I clear out the "cms_bbsearch_wordmatch" table without it affecting the site?

Dragonfly v10 has no search_wordmatch table (also no search_wordlist table).
The forums search in v10 uses the new posts_text.post_search field.

Yes, when logged in you can change it.
Can't login? Then in db just change admins.pwd column with something like
bcrypt:$2y$10$thebcrypthash

Right - its an old install, and when I tried to access the admin panel to turn off modules and backup the database in order to update it is when I ran into this issue.

So that table is in the older install, so until I update it I need to wrestle with it, correct?

I cleared out years of data in the cms_stats_hour table to try to get it under the requirements for godaddy - and now its giving me there is a database error when I try to log into the admin area, ugh.
