Can anyone tell me if there is a way to track down someone/ip who has made an attempt to hack an admin account?

Are there any kind of web logs that I can look for or do I have to install other modules?

Thanks.

Check your server logs for errors.

After i received a pm from daft i did realized teat he doesn't know waht httpd log or server log is.

First of all Dragonfly records any admin failed login, it allow up to 5 wrong login then it disable the admin login if if it use the correct password.

In your case you could check cache/a_login.php for

$login = array(
admin id => failed logins,
);
