Archived ⇒ Prompt for login when accessing site from a different PC..

I had a user ask me about this earlier today..

When he checks his mail from the library, for obvious reasons, he's not logged into my dragonfly site.

When he clicks a link for a post within a forum that requires login, since he's not logged in, he has to do a lot of extra navigation.

Why not prompt for immediate log in, and after logging in, take him to the URL that he was originally trying to access?

does the side-block with login not satisfy him the one additional click?

Maybe I've missed something here.. but even trying to allow blocks doesn't show the login block.

Perhaps there's an option I'm not aware of that will do what you suggest - I'm all ears; if you'll shoot me in the right direction I'll shut up...

Thanks!

Just tried it and now i see what the problem is.

The blocks don't show on a error page. We should maybe add something to the /themes/default/template/forums/error_body.html
