Is there some way to delete ALL posts by a particular member? I have one that has cheesed me and other members off for the last time, and I need to remove 1009 posts. I am suspending the member (member delete is too messy), but so far I am manually looking at each topic and clicking the delete button.

And yes, I did search... Wink

Gotta be an easier way! TIA for any assist... Smile

Member delete isn't messy at all in my years of experience using it.

As far as the forum posts go, why not use an update statement to blank the posts? You could find the where clause in the forum's search by author code and then craft a my_sql query to update the text to "" and then use member delete.

That way you don't risk messing up the integrity of your forum tables by deleting the rows.

Thanks spacebar. I already went ahead and manually removed them. The member delete thing works fine, but leaves that deleted_user_1, etc. all over the place. Easier for me simply to suspend them.

Thanks for the reply!
