Don't touch a Dragonfly file with DreamWeaver or Frontpage! They add their own custom code and really screw things up.
User a simple UTF-8 compliant text editor such as Notepad2 or Ultra-Edit
HAHAHAHA sorry, but I always use Dreamweaver and not it isn't true that it injects its own code. Frontpage on the other hand I have seen do this. But never Dreamweaver. The only code I see is the code I put there.Notepad2 and Editplus are also good, but if your not good at writing your own code Ide recommend using DW until you get more proficient.
PHP? I guess there is an editor that shows it.
But whether you will use that kind of editor or not you still have to install Apache and PHP (and probably some database like MySQL). Check out WampServer, which is specially made for home users not running server online. It even features choosing the version of PHP any time you wish.
