Archived ⇒ Setting Public Permissions & Groups

This may sound odd but I can't think of how to word it exactly so i'll try to explain, but relates more directly to forums.

Is there a way that I can have say 3 users a, b, c
a - public user
b - registered user
c - registered member of staff

and have different parts of the forums displayed to each. So forum categories for a to see - b sees the categories a does and some that are for registered users only, and c sees all of the above, aswell as the staff only forums.

It comes down to acls I'd guess so, the question is really does dragonfly cms support acls in this way ?

yea set forum permission on each forum you do not want A to view to REG and add all your staff to a group and then set forum permission for the staff forums to PRIVATE then update that groups forum permissions to allow them access to the staff forums
