[solved] ERROR: Invalid cookie settings This topic is locked: you cannot edit posts or make replies.

I found that if using localhost to install Dragonfly I had a cookie error. I needed to remove the :8888 from the default Cookie Domain location, for the installation to work for me.

default Cookie Domain: localhost:8888
need to use Cookie Domain: localhost

This worked fine for me

Server specs (Server OS / Apache / MySQL / PHP / DragonflyCMS):
unix / Apache 2.2.15 / MySQL 5.0.92 / PHP 5.3.8/ CMS 9.4.0.0

I'm now having this same issue. mac, where is it you find and change this setting? in a file and which file?

Server specs (Server OS / Apache / MySQL / PHP / DragonflyCMS):
9.2.1

admin -> main settings -> cookies
if you cant login simply delete
/cache/config_main_cfg

Server specs (Server OS / Apache / MySQL / PHP / DragonflyCMS):
none available

Actually ... "edit" /cache/config_main_cfg, then login and go to Admin -> Main settings -> Cookies.

Or edit the database table cms_config_custom and then delete the cache file.

Tried all possible to change the browser ... ... erase configuration, database, over and over again. Can I somehow skip the cookie check it? I got it installed in 2005, but now a new installation to fail.

You cant skip cookie check. If you don't have the cookie when you log in. It will only take for the first page you see after you log in. Next page you go to or if you refresh you wont be logged in any more.

Server specs (Server OS / Apache / MySQL / PHP / DragonflyCMS):
Multiple Setups

I created a php.ini file. This allowed me to move past it.
It has new info about

session.save_handler = ?
session.use_cookies = ?

That nano was on about. Will post my example asap, tomorrow.
