So should I just uninstall the module, or will it update?

update files, if it give you an error, then uninstall and then reinstall.

Mmm, maybe I should have left if working I guess.

I removed my wifes account from facebook users, and the fbid and token from her user account so I could test a fresh login, or so I thought.

Now all I get is this "_FB_ERROR_NOT_LOGGED".

I then went and added the callback as per your instructions, though not too sure if its meant to have .php on the end or not? or how to use it either.

for now its www.junglewraiths.net/...okCallBack

I don't know if its broken, or I just need to "clear" her details in the FB App someways?

Thats pretty much it for testing for me, as I don't know any other FB accounts.

Your welcome to test it yourself, but unless I can restore her account, I have no way to test existing users.

BTW I only uploaded files, did I need to redit cpg_member.php as well?

Seems pretty borked, I even deleted the FB App and created another, still the same error.

Ok I reverted all back to 2b, still the same error, then I realised I'd forgotten to revert facebook.php.

as soon as I did that, all is working again, no errors.

I tried the latest release file posted and it works well. Good job to everyone who pitched in on this. I do have one question.

I noticed that when you log in you are redirected to the home main page of the site. I wanted to make it hit the user account profile when someone logs in or registers. Can this be done by setting up the landing page at FB? Just asking before I do an experiment and jack it up Razz

So is this working then?

Its been working on my site so far, more than 500 FB sign ups / account associations since August.

@noair yes, it is possible. juts edit the redirects.

Very cool! I will throw it on a dev and see how it works next week.

So is it just a way to register via FB then? Or does it interact with FB or bring an aspect of being on FB to the site? like seeing your wall or posts, etc on the site?

New user registration and existent users account association.
Also, you can edit it to allow your site to access more than the basic info (see the comments on the code) so your site will be able to post/get more info based on your needs.

But those extra plugins need to be written, and they are not so complicated.

So do we need to worry about any of these "breaking changes" then?

The plugin won't break with those changes.
