I think my site has been hacked Reply to topic

1, I cant seem to save any modification from the admin panel of my Df site.
2. I use jamroom for one of my other sites and i just noticed about 12 postings on the site and it shows that it was posted by me the only admin. Some of the strange postings were in chinese and with lots of links in them.

Please help.

Perhaps because you didn't follow the correct advice from Nano about locating your sessions folder.

btw, I have had to split you from that old "solved" topic.

Ok Phoenix, thanks but can u pls explain in an easier way about Nano's explanation. I would appreciate that because I tried in the way I understood but it obviously was wrong. I apologize for that so pls explain in an easier way.
Thanks

Please use your other topic for that issue. It's been explained twice there already.

It was, yes - was overwritten recently by an upgrade, but it got rid of a serious pest at the time.

These days I use other controls and suck these scumbags into Project Honeypot where others can benefit from their exposure.
