Artisteer Only just a few days ago went to a Beta release of their 4.xx vrs
Which is the only vrs that allows the use of plugins.
Remember artisteer is famous for making major changes to each vrs.
They are evolving into Html5 and Mobil responsive themes.
However as they move forward into HTML5 any plugin will require updating and
modifications for their changes in artisteer.
Beside the modifications required for Theme exports to the dragonfly system, as they currently don't have any design functions for Forums.
To Install the Plugin, extract the .zip file and then drag the .artp file onto Artisteer 4 or double click it.
Then you willl see an option in Artisteer to export as a Dragonfly 9.3 Theme.
Artisteer generates their css file dynamically based upon YOUR design.
So if you do Not have a Vertical menu in your design, No vmenu css is exported.
If you do not have a Blog page then No blog related css is exported.
You can check what values are generated by Artisteer by reading
a file that is in the Theme Information folder that is generated by
your export. Then you can adjust your Artisteer design with additional
css values and re-export when required.
If you add a Preview click value to any image in Artisteer.
Then artisteer adds the preview click feature to your design. Now all you do
is add the class to any image in dragonfly and it will display when clicked
as a Popup.

email takes to long for me
I will post to a "share" site i am using. And provide you with a link...
Their are currently 3 different plugins under development
1 - DF 9
2 - DF10 using TAL themes/Your_Theme/html/header.html
3 - DF10 themes/Your_Theme/template/header.html
Some things you should Understand:
Artisteer DF9, and DF10 are software programs that each one is constantly updating and changing......
DF9 has a Lot of "Inline" CSS in their Php pages and Templates
Their are "elements" in DF9 css that artisteer does Not have in their Designer.
DF9 layouts are mainly Table based. Some times even table > sub table > sub table
Artisteer is DIV based div > div > div
Artisteer has minimal table css support
You should know how to:
Install a plugin
1 - Change Layouts
2 - Understand the "Ribbon Bar" and how it functions.
3 - Know where and How to make Padding and Margin settings.
4 - Know where to set "Global" css settings"
5 - how to set style for specific elements
6 - How to insert a Child and Blog page. And adjust their settings.
7 - How to set an Image preview
8 - Know that artisteer does not generate css styles for elements that do not exist in your theme
