Nuke-Evolution errors Reply to topic


I get this error after i login to the admin area and then click on forums in the admin area...
Ive tried some stuff but cant fix it, any help would be appreciated..

functions_evo.php is not from Dragonfly CMS but from Nuke Evolution.
Are you sure you dit the correct thing?

Nah, it's good for reference and i will give you the answer (although you probably don't like it).

Nuke-Evolution is dead (a long time already -> 2011).
Chris Upjohn just spends his time on other stuff. like his Front End Developer job for Isobar Australia.

Since 2011 PHP has changed.... A LOT!
So the Nuke-Evolution code is giving errors like:
  • Deprecated: Function eregi() is deprecated
  • Deprecated: Assigning the return value of new by reference is deprecated

Either ditch your website and start over, or try to convert it.

But look at the bright side: you never updated since 2011 so it worked for 5 years without maintenance!
