Can we get one please for comments and boards,etc.,etc...here at cpgnuke, this is getting emberrasing , as not able to edit comments in articles and news and my proofreading time is limited, it would be great help to us all and make cpgnuke look more professional, if nothing else, cause all my typos are starting to show! its been discussed servel times in the past (a search would have told you that BTW) and always rejected. Spell Checkers are notoriously resource intensive. Alternatively there are plenty of spell checker browser plug ins and/or you could type it in your favorite word-like program then paste it in.

Firefox has a spellchecker called Spellbound. And there's always IE Spell for those of you with that browser...

It would be much easier, if you were going to do this at all, to use Pspell.
Which is a php extension, although not every server has php compiled with it.
I compiled my server with it bc my blog has an add-in that uses it. (WordPress) It works pretty good too.
The following link might also help.. php.net/pspell

Stephen, thanks! Late tonight... but will look into it this week. Was not aware of a spell checker being a resource hog.

I know this is an old topic..

Has anyone got a spell checker to work inside DF?

I have no concerns about server load or resources for this, I just want it. My knuckle draggers are crying for it (me really).

Hope all is well Dancing
