did you get the block from the link here, try nukebiz, the link in pheonix sig, maybe will help, or just delete the hideblock function, as it is not required any more from my understanding, as you can search for that part!

I had been in contact with Daimos via pm here, when he last posted and he said he was busy taking care of a few things and would send me a copy of the beta version for fpro v2 intergration that was working, with exception of a few functions, however I have not heard back from him or got the beta yet, as sure it is a simple issue to get it working, as I had it working fine before the upgrade of the core to the current alpha release of df, as he was not sure what all the changes were and requested time to view them, so maybe he will check back in soon, as have not tried via his site, as that might be a nice place, however not rushing him, at all!

As I see search the thread for the fix often referenced on some issues, as there seem to be more than one in this thread, as this thread goes on!

Hi folks,
I would like to add another row of 7 more top poster to the Forum Center. I tried to dublicate the code from the Index.php of the Forum Center module and changed the LIMIT value to 8,7' and it does not work. Is there anthing else I have to do. Thanks for any hints.

if($settings01['ShowTopPosters']) { $content .= '<br/><div class="option" align="center"><b>'._FCBTOPPOSTERS.'</b></div><br/>'.$OpTbl.''; $content01 = '<tr>'; $result=$db->sql_query('SELECT a.user_id, a.username, a.user_posts, a.user_avatar FROM '.$user_prefix.'_users a ORDER BY user_posts DESC LIMIT 8,7'); while(list($user_id, $username, $user_posts, $avatar) = $db->sql_fetchrow($result)) { if($settings01['ShowRanks02']) { for($j = 0; $j < count($ranksrow); $j++) { if($user_posts >= $ranksrow[$j]['rank_min'] && !$ranksrow[$j]['rank_special']) { $poster_rank = $ranksrow[$j]['rank_title']; $rank_image = ($ranksrow[$j]['rank_image']) ? think after going through this thread, the one thing that seem to work best to make it work with fprov2, was not scan for multi forums was in the multi forum admin options....entered the details ForumsPro and fpro_ manually and the icon lit up and all worked with this block used and the current module relase 1.9.54 or whatever it is...

anyone know off hand what might cause an issue with the block not linking to the posts properly, as it goes to the home module path(pro_news)(tried news and same thing) instead of domain/ForumsPro/...post as turning link engine off did not resolve and tried a fresh new index file.

It works on other sites without an issue, just one site having this occur... so any suggestions would be welcome!

9.2.1 site, maybe 9.2.17 or whatever it is...

Are you using $module_name in link? 'Cos if so it will go to the current module's page rather than the block's. Need to use the explicit name of the module, e.g. 'Pro_News' in place of $module_name.

You'll find one of the Pro_News' blocks has this bug - addressed in upcoming release.

well, it does not seem to be related to the pro news or anything else, as it appears to be issue with fcb.

I resolved the issue and was able to properly install the module and configure it for multi-forums with forumspro latest release update by using google chrome, as before the issue occurred with ie config as the ff config icons did not show up properly, as partial issue with ie as well, however with google chrome it was flawless, as that is about the only good thing have to say about google chrome thus far, as it seems to not display portions properly, like forums pro blocks some worked and some did not...

so, needless to say, not sure what issue was or is, I do not notice the language for fcb config options in the css admin/fcb menu is not defined, so clueless what could be the issue, just like to suggest if anyone else has issue with install or anything to bump this thread if google chrome config and install does not resolve for now, thanks Daimos for a favorite block of many!

yes, the version available here with the block that phoenix posted and as per my pm, the way it was installed, was via google chrome browser that seemed to have worked, as firefox install was fine, it is the advanced multi forum settings that was able to see the missing and present icons and obtain configuration success, think the forumscneterblock sets the default prefix incorrect and it has to be changed to: fpro_

No modifications to the built in forums required and seems to be flawless install in googlechrome, is my result cannot be expressed to try enough and verify this, as I have not re-installed to test to see if it resolves for sure, as with IE, was able to do as well, on once occasion!

Installing it with Chrome does not work for me? What am I doing wrong? I downloaded the file from nukebiz, installed the module, and changed the prefix to fpro_ Confused

ok I zipped up what is working on several installs, including the block, the module page, does not and has not ever worked for me on any df install or fcb version..

From fresh install,

9.2.1 DF on 2.0.3 fpro

1) Uninstall FCB
2) Delete FCB module directory, after uninstall(may not matter).

3) Install Then proceed with either google chrome or ie, so you can see if images are showing up, as some paths may need to be checked and seeing red x boxes, is a problem, imho, however FF does not show, so i.e, still need to know, as this could be an error.

Advance configuration, set 1 extra forum and these two fields:

ForumsPro

1. Forums Module/ Folder Name:
(e.g.: Forums0, Forums5, ForumsX)

fpro_

1. Forums Second Prefix:
(e.g.: forums0_, forums2_, bb2)

4) Scan

5) Post back results
