The install still fails if an install is attempted using HTTPS instead of HTTP protocol.

html/install.php (rev 9.9) change line 119 to:
if (!(ereg("(http://$_SERVER[HTTP_HOST])", $_SERVER['HTTP_REFERER']) || ereg("(https://$_SERVER[HTTP_HOST])", $_SERVER['HTTP_REFERER']))) {

one problem of your code that if webmaster want to access install under http:// get an Error saying you can't access the file directory.

Hrmm... strange. It seems to work.

Maybe I copied it here incorrectly. The code above should check to see if it is EITHER a http OR a https access from the same server. If it isn't either of those, THEN it'll error out.
