It is not possible to add a new post in the forums (either a replay or a new thread) with MySQL 5.0 Strict Mode. An SQL error is displayed for the poster_ip field.

Reproduce code:
Error Text (for a reply)

MS Warning line 75: On /index.php?name=Forums&file=posting While executing query
"INSERT INTO cpg_bbposts (topic_id, forum_id, poster_id, post_username, post_time, poster_ip, enable_bbcode, enable_html, enable_smilies, enable_sig) VALUES (1, 1, 2, '', 1175504578, '', 1, 0, 1, 1)"
the following error occured: Data too long for column 'poster_ip' at row 1 In: c:cpgtesthtmlincludesphpBBfunctions_post.php on line: 150

Expected result:
Can add a new post.

Actual result:
Can't add a new post (either a reply or a new thread) and an SQL error is displayed.

Something is amiss - it should be inserting a varbinary IP address?

This now generates the following error when posting a new message.

CMS Warning line 75: On /index.php?name=Forums&file=posting While executing query "INSERT INTO cpg_bbposts_text (post_id, post_subject, post_text) VALUES (1382, 'Re: Who the heck is out there?', 'This is a test')" the following error occured: Field 'bbcode_uid' doesn't have a default value In: c:\web\html\includes\phpBB\functions_post.php on line: 156
